"Rock with it baby" is a phrase I've been using lately because I've been making a lot of mixes. Rock and roll has been the main influence in my drum and ukulele practice pushing me to play faster and more aggressively.
For my sketch, I wanted to experiment with shape and form contrasting simple rock like shapes against hand done typography. I didn't plan the end result, I began by drawing one type of thing and then used half of the composition to draw something different. Then I joined the two together.
My life is faced with many dualities; I'm experimenting with my various styles of drawing, and experimenting with my music, practicing drums and ukulele. I'm enjoying letting it flow to see what happens organically in the moment.
